Tom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. He has worked with a diverse range of clients experiencing an equally expansive range of mental health concerns. Tom is committed to learning about each client and working side by side with that individual from where they’re at to help address any challenges that they may be facing. Tom understands that each person is unique and has their own story. Whether their concerns are related to anxiety, depression, relationships, adjustments, addictions, or other major life issues, Tom is eager and ready to help. Tom earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University. Tom uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach, and incorporates empathetic listening to ensure understanding to best support his clients. Tom utilizes multiple treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and others as …appropriate.
