Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic, MD

Tomislav Mihaljevic, MD, is an Attending Surgeon in the Cleveland Clinic Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Mihaljevic specializes in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, robotically assisted cardiac surgery, valve repair and replacement, image-guided surgery and heart failure and cardiac transplantation. A native of Croatia, Dr. Mihaljevic received his medical degree from the Medical School, University of Zagreb, Croatia. He completed his residency in cardiovascular surgery at the Clinic for Cardiovascular Surgery of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. This was followed by residencies in general and cardiothoracic surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
