Access Private Medicine is a new family medicine experience. We provide quality personalized primary care for a low monthly membership fee. Our membership includes all doctors visits. It also includes labs at wholesale prices and basic office procedures.
For members of Access Private Medicine there is never a copay, no pesky insurance haggling, and no barriers between you and your family doctor. As a member you can see the doctor as often as you need, usually the same day with no additional charges for …office visits. There are no procedure fees for any procedure done in our office and supplies are provided discount pricing. We also have discount pricing on laboratory work for patients without medical insurance.
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct primary care is not a form of health insurance. Direct primary care is a healthcare arrangement in which a physician is contracted privately with a group of patients to provide for their primary care needs outside of the insurance system.
This affordable monthly fee allows the physician to reduce administrative overhead and burdens related to dealing with insurance companies, allowing that physician to limit the number of patients in the practice. This in turn allows the physician to spend more time with each patient, and allows each patient greater access to their personal physician, including same day/next day appointments in most cases.
Since primary care represents 90% of the average patient’s health care experience, direct primary care gives the patient a tremendous amount of control over the largest component of their healthcare experience. Direct primary care is not a form of health insurance.
What is included in my membership?
Your membership includes an annual physical examination as well as office visits during normal business hours, telephone consultations, and e-mail consultations. We try to offer after hours and weekend visits whenever needed.
Laboratory and radiology studies are not included, however we have arranged for discounts for our patients. There is no charge for procedures performed in the office, however supplies and medications may be charged to the patient in some circumstances. We do not do nursing home visits. If you are hospitalized we will coordinate care with the hospitalist following you during your stay.
