Dr. Troy Augustus Bunting, MD

Dr. Troy Bunting has been practicing cardiology since obtaining his medical degree in 2000 from UNC School of Medicine. He then came to Charleston, South Carolina for his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina before going to Boston, Massachusetts where he completed his fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in 2007.
Dr. Bunting is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Clinical Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology and has been practicing cardiology at Coastal Cardiology since leaving Boston. He has a strong interest in interventional cardiology and valvular heart disease with an emphasis on new innovative technologies.
He enjoys playing tennis and jogging and spending time with his wife and young son. Patient interactions and relationships are what Dr. Bunting enjoys most about practicing cardiology.
