Dr. Virgilio Nalazon Chan, MD

Dr. Chan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of the Philippines in Quezon City, graduating in 1988. He attended medical school at the University of East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines, including an internship at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center. Dr. Chan completed an internship in preliminary medicine at Rush University Medical Center in 2001 and completed his residency
in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 2004.
Dr. Chan was the chief resident at Rush University Medical Center from 2003 to 2004. Dr. Chan is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. He has been active in research and has been published in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
