Dr Vishal Kantilal Bhalani

Dr. Vishal Bhalani is board-certified in Urology and specializes in all aspects of genitourinary surgery with advanced training in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, overactive bladder, male and female incontinence, erectile dysfunction, minimally invasive treatments for BPH, and genitourinary cancer. Dr. Bhalani has been awarded Center of Excellence and serves as a training center for other physicians in both the UroLift procedure for BPH and the Interstim procedure for overactive bladder, urinary retention, and fecal incontinence. Dr. Bhalani delivers top results to his patients and has received many accolades including Castle Connolly Top Doctor as voted by his peers, Best of Gwinnett, Best of North Fulton, and Patient’s Choice Awards. Dr. Bhalani received a prestigious academic scholarship to the University of Miami where he earned his medical degree. He completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a residency in …Urology at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Bhalani has published numerous journal articles on topics related to the treatment of prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and kidney stones, as well as improving the techniques of robotic and minimally invasive surgery. In addition to his devotion to advancing the field of Urology, Dr. Bhalani is known for his humility and patient-friendly disposition. He believes that excellent outcomes are achieved through effective communication and patient understanding of their condition and treatment options. Outside of his practice, Dr. Bhalani enjoys travel, playing basketball, spending time with his family, and advocating for stronger public health initiatives. Dr. Bhalani speaks Spanish and Gujarati fluently.
