Dr. William Lee Kestenberg, MD

William L. Kestenberg M.D. is a board certified general surgeon. He completed both his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Michigan. He was a resident at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital from 1985-1990, where he served as overall chief resident. He is past president of the Detroit Surgical Association.
His special interests include breast, endocrine and laparoscopic surgery. He is able to offer state of the art treatment for benign and malignant breast disease with in office ultrasound biopsies that circumvent the need for hospital based operative procedures.
Dr. Kestenberg was recognized as one of the area’s most respected general surgeons in Hour Detroit Magazine’s 2006 and 2008 “Top Docs” listings.
