MEET DR. ZAKIA HOSSAIN
Dr. Zakia Hossain, M.D, FACP, is an attentive and caring internist based in Woodside, New York and Jamaica, New York. Dr. Hossain attended Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, in 2006.
Dr. Hossain owns and operates her own practice and is affiliated with various medical facilities in New York, including Elmhurst …Hospital Center, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Kings County Hospital Center, Queens Hospital Center, and Flushing Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Hossain is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), and a member of the Bangladesh Medical Association of North America. She speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, and Bengali fluently, which makes her widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
During her consultations, Dr. Hossain fully explains patients’ conditions and assists them with their healthcare needs. She strives to provide her patients with the same level of personalized care and attention that she would expect for her own family.
