Dr. Ashkar has experience in treating all aspects of renal disease including chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, glomerulonephritis, end stage kidney disease, medical kidney stone management and dialysis. When he isn’t working in patient care, he enjoys reading, medical research, playing piano and spending time with his family. Dr Ashkar is the keyboard player for the On-Call Band, a group consisting of doctors playing for charitable causes across Acadiana.
