Erick Loveres, FNP-C

Erick Loveres is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a special interest in preventive care and early detection of disease.
He believes that a lack of preventive care is one of the biggest health risks facing Southern Arizona, and works closely with patients to monitor their health before illness occurs.
While caring for his mother, Loveres had an epiphany. He wanted to be a care provider for others so he could make a difference in the lives of patients.
“During this time, I realized that I share the same passion for caring for people as many of the great medical staff who took care of my mom when she was ill,” he said. “I knew then that I wanted to make a difference by helping people improve their health, quality of life and access to health care.”
Loveres takes the team approach in relationships with patients. He likes to start out by getting to know them and learning about their health goals. From there, he works with his patients to make a plan to reach those …goals.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Loveres moved to Arizona in 2001 to attend school. He earned his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2011 and his Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practitioner from the University of Phoenix in 2017.
Loveres is fluent in Tagalog, the native language of the Philippines.
