As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer Karns specializes in the overall health of her patients and their families. She selected a career in family medicine as she enjoys treating patients during all life stages and covering a wide variety of medical conditions. She has a strong interest in preventative care and screenings for her patients. She finds great joy in helping patients of all ages with mental health care and has four years of experience in mental health care. Jennifer has 8 years of nursing practice before becoming a nurse practitioner with a wide variety of specialties.
Her care philosophy is patient focused and unique like each individual person and she believes patients deserve their own version of wellness. Jennifer agrees with Marsden Women and Family Health Care’s mission that everyone deserves access to non-judgmental health care and being a provider with Marsden gives her …the opportunity to aid patients in their health journey.
Jennifer completed her Registered Nurse training in Denver, Colorado in 2014. After receiving her Master of Science in Nursing with Emphasis in Nursing Education at Grand Canyon University in 2018. Jennifer went on to complete her medical training with University of South Alabama for her post-graduate certification in family medicine as a nurse practitioner.
