Dr. Linda Mays is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who researches, counsels, teaches, supervises, and consults in independent practice. She received a Florida psychiatric nurse practitioner license in 2014 and a Kentucky psychiatric nurse practitioner license in 2015. Her degrees include B.S.N. in Nursing, M.S.N. in Clinical Research Management, Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and D.N.P. in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Her education and clinical training integrate lifespan applications with children, pregnant women, adolescents, adults, seniors, and the very old. She has specialty training through the Trauma Resolution Center in trauma incident reduction.Her clinical practice includes guiding patients through life-transition issues: pregnant women and their unborn child, children, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged adults, seniors, and the very old.
