Welcome! I’m Nagavalli Thiruvalluvan, your dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a heart for providing compassionate and high-quality care to adults and seniors. With a rich background that spans across various healthcare settings since 2013, I bring a wealth of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehab medicine, and outpatient primary care. Before stepping into the nurse practitioner role, I honed my skills for 14 years in hospital nursing across different specialties.
I also care for my patients by providing weight loss management, offering preventative care through education and counseling, and following evidence-based guidelines. With a renewed emphasis on preventative care and weight loss management, patients can manage and control comorbidities as they lose weight and resolve other health conditions, with several medications being reduced or eliminated.
I believe in seeing the world through my patients’ eyes, advocating for your rights, and addressing your needs with …understanding and respect. As a self-directed professional with a knack for time management and organization, my focus is always on enhancing your health outcomes.
In 2020, I embraced the challenge of independently operating my own Primary Care Clinic, where I continue to apply my extensive knowledge and passion for patient care. My educational journey has been a fulfilling one, culminating in a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University by the end of 2023.
I hold an Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (NP-C) and am licensed to practice in New Jersey. My commitment to staying current means I am certified in rehabilitation nursing (CRRN) and continuously update my skills to serve you better.
