Olga Gonzales Byrne, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, is a bilingual, English/Spanish dual Board Certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is qualified to diagnose and treat mental disorders in children, adolescent, adults, and the geriatric population. Some of her practice specialties include (but are not limited to) MDD, anxiety, Panic. Attacks, Insomnia, ADHD, Fibromyalgia, Bipolar Depression, and ADHD.Olga’s style of practice is an evidence-based practice with focus on a holistic approach in which she includes traditional Western Medicine, stress management, lifestyle modification, balanced nutrition, exercises, and vitamins. Olga believes in the connection of soul, body, spirit, and mind. Therefore she focuses on the healing of the individuals as a whole in an effort to bring homeostasis to the person’s life.Olga has been always passionate about health care and the healing process of individual and she began her Nursing Career as a young …nurse in Costa Rica at the Clinica Biblica in 1993. She worked there as OR/PACU RN and later on worked in the National Children Hospital of Costa Rica within the Kidney transplant unit.She graduated with a Bachelorette Degree in Nursing from the University of Costa Rica and Masters of Science in Nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner when she migrated to the USA. Olga has always been passionate about psychiatry and neuroscience, leading Olga to specialize in Psychiatric Mental Health Care.Over the course of thirty years of nursing and medical practice, Olga has had the privilege of working in many areas, including, psychiatry, hospice care, OR, PACU, cardiology, physical rehabilitations, family practice, GYN/OB, internal medicine, pain management, interventional spine, and urgent care. Olga enjoys working with a variety of age groups. She finds helping people when they are in their most vulnerable stage to be very rewarding.Olga’s hobbies include reading, spinning, traveling, and spiritual growth. Growing orchids and spending time with her mini goldendoodle, Eevee, are her passions.
