Ms. Pearl Maurer is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She studied nursing at Oakland University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau. In 1997, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as an RN in a variety of settings from Neurology to Mother-Baby to Cardiology. In addition, she served as a nursing student preceptor and taught BLS and CPR for the American Heart Association.
In 2001, Pearl graduated from University of North Carolina with a dual Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She worked in a variety of practices, eventually purchasing her own clinic. She owned and operated her clinic in Mesa, specializing in travel medicine, vaccinations and DOT/ CDL physicals. In 2011, her clinic won The Best of Mesa Award.
Pearl is a United States Air Force Veteran, who loves traveling around the world, camping, spending time with her family, acting, sewing, playing games and reading. …She has four grown children who are successful in a wide variety of careers and lives in Mesa with her husband, Terry.
