Dr. Shulstad completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree after completing a residency which included over 1000 clinical hours in dermatology and dermatologic surgery. This residency included an opportunity to train in advanced surgery techniques and treatments at Moffitt Cancer Centers Cutaneous Oncology Department and Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma clinics. Dr. Shulstad has published over 15 articles in peer reviewed journals relating to treatments of cutaneous malignancies and multiple dermatoses. He is certified by the Dermatology Nurses Association for advanced practice, as well as by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult Health.
