Dr. SONIYA MARWAHA, MD is a BOARD CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIST
Dr. Marwaha received her medical training from the University of Seychelles American institute of Medicine and graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Masters of Public Health. During Medical school she did research on the evaluation and management of Delirium. She undertook Psychiatric electives at Yale School of Medicine, where she worked in the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit and presented a few neuropsychiatric cases.
At WKU she got the opportunity to work at Kelly Autism Program, where she did research in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She went on to join Creighton/ UNMC combined Psychiatry residency training program in Omaha NE and after the first 2 years fast tracked into a Child and Adolescent psychiatry (CAP) fellowship program at OBH/ BHMCNY and completed her last year of Adult psychiatry training in the same program in NY.
After completing her psychiatry residency and CAP fellowship, Dr. Marwaha completed …an additional year of training in Psychosomatic medicine/Psychiatric Consultation Liaison fellowship at JHMC NY. In the past she has enjoyed volunteering at the Juvenile Detention Center and the Commonwealth Health Free Clinic in Bowling Green Kentucky.

Center of Revitalizing Psychiatry is a local family owned business, which was started by Dr. Marina Tourkova in 2003. Our first office opened in Hackensack, NJ, followed by a second office in Sarasota, FL, which opened its doors in 2012. As a family we value hard work, honesty and dedication; and we understand that strong mental health is essential in having success in personal and professional lives. We are dedicated to helping our clients to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
We are a state licensed and industry accredited outpatient mental health clinic. Since 2003, our Center has helped thousands of patients with their mental health needs. In recognition of the high quality services provided over the years, we have received multiple awards and recognitions. In addition, we work with local organizations and support various community initiatives to promote mental health awareness. We are committed to continue our support and hard work within the mental health community.
