Dr. WALEED BOLAD, MD is a BOARD CERTIFIED RHEUMATOLOGIST
Dr. Bolad is board certified in rheumatology. After completing high school and gaining Cambridge certification, Dr Bolad traveled to Budapest Hungary where he obtained his medical education and graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine with Honors. He then came to the United States where he did his medical residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He then spent five months at the Lupus Clinic in Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr Bolad completed his fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Virginia in 2012 and has been in clinical practice since.
Dr Bolad specializes in treating rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, pseudogout, back pain, osteoporosis, ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia, lupus, scleroderma, polymyalgia rheumatic, temporal arteritis, and other rheumatic autoimmune diseases. He has special interest in utilizing the ultrasound for procedural guidance …for better therapeutic outcome.
