Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose to pursue a career in psychology because I wanted to be able to use my listening and problem-solving skills and empathy to help others.What I want my patients to know about me:I obtained my doctoral degree in psychology in 1990. I’ve been licensed to practice psychology in Pennsylvania since 1997, and have lived in south central Pennsylvania for over two decades. I have worked as a psychologist for WellSpan since 2000, and serve as the administrative supervisor of the psychotherapists at the Gettysburg office of WellSpan Philhaven.What I do when I’m not seeing patients:I like to go to movies and watch favorite TV shows, try new foods and restaurants, and go to classic rock concerts. I also frequently feed my cats.
