Dr. Aimee Pooneh Vafaie, MD

Dr. Vafaie was born in Lubbock, Texas and raised in Kingsville, Texas and Memphis, Tennessee. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and English Literature, graduating magna cum laude from Rice University in Houston, and earned her M.D. from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed her pediatrics residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, which is at Texas Children’s Hospital and Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
