Dr. Alex Afshar brings more than 15 years of experience in diagnosing and treating venous disease to the Vein Institute.He began his professional pursuits at George Washington University in Washington DC, and Sheffield University in the United Kingdom, where he earned his Bachelor of Science. After graduation, Dr. Afshar enrolled at the Ross University of Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine.Vein InstitutePresident and Founder Alex Afshar, M.D., leads the team at Vein Institute, which offers a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment.
