Alex G. Pappas, D.D.S.
Dr. Alex G. Pappas received his B.A. in biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton and graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. As a result of his exceptional academic achievements, Dr. Pappas was inducted into the prestigious OKU Dental Honor Society. He also received numerous awards for outstanding clinical achievements in advanced fixed prosthodontics and periodontics. Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Pappas continued his training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and completed a 3-year post-doctoral program in Periodontics and Dental Implantology. He has been trained extensively in periodontal plastic surgery, oral reconstructive surgery, implantology and periodontal medicine.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, Academy of Osseointegration and the …American Dental Association. Dr. Pappas speaks Greek fluently as a second language.
