Dr. Allan Eric Siperstein, MD

Allan Siperstein, MD, is Head of the Section of Endocrine Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Division of Surgery, and Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program and Endocrine Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Siperstein completed his medical school training at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, and his general surgery residency and endocrine surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco. From 1990 until 1999 he was a Faculty member in the Department of General Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Since then he has been a Staff member at Cleveland Clinic. In addition to endocrine surgery, he has had a long interest in minimally invasive surgery and surgical sonography. Since 1992, he has been teaching coursework in intraoperative and laparoscopic ultrasound techniques.
