Dr. Sanzone received his medical degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 1991. He served his internship specializing in General Surgery at Chicago Medical School and served his residency specializing in Orthopaedics at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Sanzone completed a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology at Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington.
