Dr. Pitrowski is licensed as both a physician and a dentist in the state of California. He began his professional career as a student at Harvard University and received his medical and dental degrees with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and 1992 and membership in the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, which is the highest academic honor at Penn Dental Medicine. Following the completion of his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Pitrowski completed a special fellowship in Plastic Surgery at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Pitrowski is board certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and maintains fellowship status in American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and International College of Dentists. Dr. Pitrowski is an active …member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Board of Oral Implantology, International College of Oral Implantology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and numerous others.
Dr. Pitrowski remains engaged in continuing medical and dental education and has been providing CE through the Central Coast Implant Study Club to its members for 19 years, as well as the Central Coast Dental Society where he was CE director. He regularly participates in collaborative learning with his oral and maxillofacial, dental, and medical colleagues where he is often an invited speaker at educational forums and enjoys lively discussion with his well-informed peers.
Drs. Pitrowski and Goldberg have been involved as leaders of 2 separate study clubs with the Spear Education Study group since 2013 in addition to our long-standing Implant Study Club.
Dr. Pitrowski enjoys practicing the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a special interest in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Dental Implantology.
He has been in practice on the central coast since 1996.
