Dr. Brian Lee Revis, MD

Dr. Revis is a nephrologist specializing in kidney disorders, kidney stones, and hypertension.
He is a native of Cincinnati and attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Upon graduation in 2006, he trained at University Hospital in Cincinnati, completing his internal medicine residency in 2009. During his residency training, he was one of the few two time winners of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. He was named graduation commencement speaker by his fellow graduates, and remained at UC for a chief residency year with a focus in physician education and quality improvement.
Dr. Revis then trained at The Ohio State University, completing his nephrology training in 2012. He was awarded the distinguished fellow award at The Ohio State University in 2012. Following fellowship, Dr. Revis joined the Kidney and Hypertension Center in July 2012. In 2014, Dr. Revis was elected a fellow of the American College of Physicians …and currently chairs the membership committee for the Ohio chapter of the American College of Physicians.. He is boarded in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and licensed in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Dr. Revis is the only nephrologist in the greater Cincinnati area registered as a physician in vascular interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. In January 2015, Dr. Revis was named a Top Doctor in nephrology by Cincinnati Magazine. Dr. Revis was named a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology in 2015.
With a commitment to physician education, Dr. Revis is proud to be an invited speaker to many physician training programs across Cincinnati, including physician residencies at Jewish Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Christ Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati. He also participates in education with department of Nephrology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Revis also volunteers time at the Good Samaritan Free Health Clinic.
He has hospital privileges at all hospital systems within the greater Cincinnati area. Dr. Revis and his partners at the Kidney and Hypertension Center have office locations throughout the greater Cincinnati area. His areas of interest are hypertension, interventional nephrology, kidney stones, and renal disease.
