Dr. Brian Tilden Briscoe, MD

Brian Briscoe, MD, is a highly rated and experienced board-certified psychiatrist with over a decade of private practice experience. Dr. Briscoe founded a practice in 2011 that grew to become Next Step 2 Mental Health in Louisville, Kentucky, where he provides compassionate and nonjudgmental care to Adults of all ages.Kentucky born and raised, Brian graduated with honors from Centre College and went on to study at the University of Louisville, where he earned his medical degree and completed residency training in Psychiatry.Dr. Briscoe is a former full-time teaching faculty member for the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry, and he continues to teach residents and medical students through a gratis faculty appointment. He has published multiple articles, presented at international conferences, and received numerous awards for teaching and scholarly endeavors. He was elected Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association in 2020. Dr. Briscoe carries a …strong interest in the intersection of faith and practice (Christian).
