Dr. Wallstedt has been in practice with Family Practice Associates of Southern Hills since 1996. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis, where he received an award for his research publication. Dr. Wallstedt is Board Certified in Family Practice and completed his residency training in Family Practice at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. There he served as Chief Resident and resident delegate to the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians Congress of Delegates.
Dr. Wallstedt is a member of the American Board of Family Physicians (Diplomate). Professional organizations include the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians where he serves on the Board of Executive Director as well as President of the Andrew Jackson Chapter. Dr Wallstedt serves as a clinical preceptor for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Vanderbilt University Medical …School and Meharry Medical College. Dr. Wallstedt is active in his church serving as a mentor for the youth and coach for the little league baseball. He resides outside of Franklin with his wife and two children.
