I enjoy all aspects of general surgery but I have a special interest in morbid obesity surgery (bariatric surgery). I understand that it is always stressful to have to go through an operation. It is my goal to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I accomplish this by helping patients to understand how and why we do operations. I will then use minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy, small incisions) whenever appropriate, to reduce pain and speed recovery.
