Dr. DiCorte earned his medical degree from LSU. He completed his internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and his surgical residency at Ochsner. He completed his fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. DiCorte is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1999. His expertise includes adult cardiovascular surgery, off-pump heart surgery, heart valve repair and replacement, thoracic surgery and thoracoscopic surgery. He practices at the Ochsner Health Center in Covington.
