Dr. Charles Storey Rutherford, MD

Dr. Rutherford received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1980. His general surgery internship and orthopedic residency was completed at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Dr. Rutherford then completed an adult joint reconstructive fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He specializes in total joint replacement and revision surgery with an emphasis in the hip and knees. Dr. Rutherford is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is the Chief of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Medical City Dallas Hospital. Dr Rutherford is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Southern Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Rutherford is a member of a small group of orthopedic surgeons from around the nation involved with the development of minimally invasive total knee replacement techniques and an interest in minimally invasive hip …replacements.
