Chiadi E. Ndumele, M.D., Ph.D., is an esteemed faculty member at Johns Hopkins University, holding positions as an Assistant Professor in the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease and the Director of Obesity Research in the Division of Cardiology. Dr. Ndumele graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and later earned his M.D. cum laude from Harvard University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, serving as Chief Medical Resident, and then pursued Cardiology training at Johns Hopkins University, where he was the Chief Cardiology Fellow. Additionally, he obtained an MHS and Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In 2012, he was honored as the Robert E. Meyerhoff Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins, a recognition given biennially to two outstanding minority junior faculty members in the School of Medicine.
