Dr. Capel is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon who has joined Lucas Surgical Group. He returns to Greenwood where he practiced from 1997 until 2002. He received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences-Chicago Medical School and completed his residency in general surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Loma Linda (California) University Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His practice includes general, vascular and chest surgery.
