“My goal is to provide superior care to each and every patient. I strive to maintain a high level of compassion and individual care along with the most advanced techniques available in orthopedics.”
Dr. Smith is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience.
He received his undergraduate degree from The University of the South, and his medical degree from Texas Tech University. He completed his orthopedic residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Since 1999, Dr. Smith has been providing orthopedic care in the West Houston community.
His general orthopedic practice emphasizes treatment of both knee and hip problems. This includes surgical options such as knee arthroscopy, partial and total knee replacement, hip replacement, and fracture care. In addition to providing orthopedic care in the Houston community, Dr. Smith regularly participates in medical mission trips to countries in Central and South America. In his free time, he …enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities.
Dr. Christopher Smith is a third-generation orthopedic surgeon, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, both of whom were leaders in the local medical community. Dr. Smith specializes in adult and pediatric orthopedics and serves as the team physician for Spring Woods High School in Spring Branch ISD.
Additionally, he donates his time to Operation Rainbow and other humanitarian medical missions in developing countries worldwide, providing orthopedic intervention to indigent children and young adults suffering from congenital abnormalities and untreated chronic injury.
