Dr. Clinton James Devin, MD

Clinton J. Devin, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in disorders of the spine. Dr. Devin utilizes a conservative approach employing patient education, physical therapy, and steroid injections when appropriate, prior to resorting to surgery.
Originally from Laramie, Wyoming, Dr. Devin received his Bachelors of Science degree in molecular biology, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Wyoming. Dr. Devin then went on to complete his Medical Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society. He remained in Nashville completing his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During his residency at Vanderbilt he served as Administrative Chief of Orthopedics and attended the American Orthopaedic Association Leadership Forum. Dr. Devin spent an additional year completing a Spine Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, …Pennsylvania under the direction of Drs. William Donaldson and James Kang.
Dr. Devin has given several presentations at national meetings and authored original publications and book chapters.
Dr. Devin holds staff privileges at Texas Orthopedic Hospital and The Methodist Hospital. In addition to his Texas medical license, Dr. Devin is licensed in Tennessee and board-eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
