Dr. Corey Wallach, a native of Northern Virginia, is pleased to have returned to the area to serve as Medical Director for the Anderson Clinic Spine Center.
Dr. Wallach left Virginia to attend Columbia University, where he first studied Architecture and Religion prior to beginning his medical career. He then attended medical school at the University of California, Davis, where he was honored with both the Lipscomb Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he conducted extensive research on biologic treatment strategies for degenerative spinal disorders, earning both national and international recognition for his efforts.
He then returned to California for his spine fellowship at the prestigious UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center, which specializes in motion preserving, minimally invasive, and traditional treatment strategies for cervical, thoracic, …and lumbar pathology.
Since returning to Virginia, Dr. Wallach has been delighted to oversee the growth and development of the Anderson Clinic Spine Center. Our spine center now addresses all aspects of spine care with an emphasis on conservative management, as well as the latest in minimally invasive treatment options. We pride ourselves foremost on patient education, and offer physical therapy tailored to your unique spinal complaints, as well as therapeutic and diagnostic spinal injections when necessary. If surgery is required, we utilize advanced techniques that allow for a rapid resolution of one’s pain, as well as a quick return to activities and independence.
In keeping with his academic training, Dr. Wallach continues to be actively involved in clinical research aimed at improving spine care, as well as lecturing nationally on various treatment options for spinal disorders.
In his spare time, Dr. Wallach enjoys woodworking and guitar, but mostly finds himself enjoying the company of his wife and three growing children.
