Dr. Callewart is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas; his orthopedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland; and his orthopedic spine fellowship at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles. Dr. Callewart specializes in the treatment of traumatic spine injuries and chronic pain. His clinical interests include the alleviation of chronic pain associated with spine injuries, scoliosis, cervical and lumbar fractures, and the advances in the treatment of complicated cases. Dr. Callewart believes that while there have been tremendous advancements over the years in how surgeons treat patients with spine conditions, the importance of the bond of trust between the patient and physician remains the same.
