Dr. Damian Michael Andrisani, MD

Damian Andrisani, M.D., is an orthopaedic sports-medicine specialist dedicated to the care of athletes of all ages. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1999, following with six years in orthopaedic residency and a sports-medicine fellowship. He is a recognized authority in matters of general orthopaedics and sports medicine, with particular expertise in knee and shoulder injuries.
Dr. Andrisani is presently a clinical instructor within the Christiana Care Department of Family Medicine. He is also a team physician for the University of Delaware, Delaware Technical and Community College, and several area high schools.
A current member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopic Association of North America, Dr. Andrisani has delivered many presentations and authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the Hobart-Amory-Hare Honor Society at Jefferson …Medical College and was named a Resident of Year finalist at Miami Valley Hospital in 2001.
