    Overwiew

    I was born and raised in Romania, where I also attended medical school. Shortly after becoming a physician, I moved to the United States, with my wife, to practice medicine. I have been happily married for nearly 25 years. I studied gout – among other arthritic conditions – at the University of Chicago Medical Center where a lot of discoveries in that specialty took place. My wife is a psychiatrist. We have four children who take up most of our free time.
