Dr. Silcox is an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon who has been in practice for over 14 years. His initial 9 years of practice were with The Emory Clinic and Emory Spine Center, where he was also a part of the faculty of Emory Univerisity School of Medicine. He transferred his practice to Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic over 5 years ago. Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic is the official practice for the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Hawks.
Dr. Silcox specialized in treating adult spinal disorders surgically. He specializes in minimally invasive anterior and posterior lumbar interbody fusion, as well as motion sparing surgery of the lumbar spine. He also has a passion for treating cervical disorders requiring anterior cervical discectomy and fusion as well as posterior cervical laminoplasty.
Dr. Silcox has been on the faculty of over 50 continuing medical education courses. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and has authored numerous book chapters.
