Dr. Darryl S. Camp, MD

Jose C. Cortez, MD, is a pediatric urologist with special interests in genitourinary surgery, hypospadias, undescended testicle, hernia-hydrococle, reflux, and UPJ obstruction. Board certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Cortez received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1985. From that point he completed his general surgery internship and pediatric/adult urology residency at the University of Cincinati. Dr. Cortez did his pediatric urology fellowship at the University of California in San Diego. He is a member of the American Urologic Association and the American Society of Pediatric Urology and has published work in his field. Dr. Cortez is a strong supporter of Children’s Hospital of Austin, the Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Children’s Hospital Spinal Bifida Program. Personal hobbies include cycling.
