Dr. Debora Jean Mcclary

I was born and raised in a military family. My father retired at the Navy Base on Whidbey Island, Washington, so I spent most of my grade school years in western Washington state. I attended college at Central Washington University and medical school at the University of Washington. I completed my General Surgery Residency in 1999 and my fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery in 2000. I am now board certified in both specialties.
I practiced my first 8 years out of training in western Washington, then relocated to Phoenix in 2008 with my husband and children to be closer to grandparents in Arizona. We love the sunshine and the desert!
I am proud to have the Mayo Clinic as my training background. I received great teaching there. I believe God is the greatest surgeon and I strive to use the skills He has gifted me with.
