Dr. Deborah Kay Countie, MD

B. David Brent, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Opthomology and has special interests in vitreoretinal surgery and laser refractive surgery. He graduated from The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio with honors and completed his internal medicine internship in Bexar County Hospital District, also in San Antonio. Dr. Brent received his opthalmology training at Tulane University School of Medicine, serving as Chief Resident in his last year. Subsequent to this training was a two year fellowship concentrating on the retina/vitreaous.
Throughout his career, Dr. Brent has had various teaching appointments, awards, and honors as well as a plethora of presentations and publications. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Opthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Opthalmology.
