Dr. Deborah Stegner, MD

Deborah Stegner is a licensed, board-certified adult psychiatrist at Serenity Mental Health Centers. With over 17 years of experience, she offers all her patients an understanding and compassionate approach to patient care.
After earning her medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2002, Dr. Stegner then completed her residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, specializing in general adult psychiatry. Previous to joining Serenity, she gained valuable experience as an attending in-patient physician at several award-winning hospitals in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Stegner believes in a patient-centric approach driven by empathy. For a patient to be successful, a strong therapeutic relationship which supports mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness is paramount to the process of healing, as is active patient collaboration and a commitment to creating change.
Outside of work, Dr. Stegner is the proud mother of two lovely daughters. She …enjoys interior design, DIY home projects, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
Dr. Stegner takes pride in being part of a group which provides the best treatments psychiatry has to offer, including ketamine therapy, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), and medication management. She looks forward to meeting with new patients to help them take back their lives from mental illness.
