As a native of Southern California, I grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member in the San Fernando Valley. I went to college at UC Berkeley and found myself fascinated by the life sciences. I chose to pursue a career in medicine, as I loved the intellectual challenges and the emotional satisfaction of practicing medicine. I have been in San Diego for quite some time now, having received my medical degree and my specialty training in anesthesiology from UC San Diego. I like to volunteer my professional services to charitable organizations that serve the less fortunate.
