As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Deidre Richards is uniquely qualified to address the full range of emotional and behavioral difficulties affecting children and adolescents. A graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, she received her residency training in Adult (General) Psychiatry at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, where she also fulfilled her Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. After completing her medical training she joined the Louisiana Department of Health and HospitalsÂ’ Office of Mental Health as a clinic-based child & adolescent psychiatrist.
