Dr. Dennis Charles Uhrhammer, MD

A native of northwestern Indiana, Dr. Uhrhammer joined Lutheran Medical Group when his former group, Associated Family Medical Consults, joined LMG in November 2010. Dr. Uhrhammer joined AFMC in 1999. Dr. Uhrhammer graduated summa cum laude from the University of Indianapolis in 1992 where he doubled majored and earned bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology. He earned a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 1996, and he completed a family practice residency in 1999 at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program, where he was chief resident. Dr. Uhrhammer, who enjoys participating in medical missions to third world countries, specializes in the full spectrum of adult and pediatric medicine OB/GYN and geriatric services. He is member of the Lutheran Hospital finance quality review committee, and he is a past member of the hospital’s executive committee. He also served as president of the family practice committee from 2002 to 2003. …Dr. Uhrhammer is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
