Dr. Diem Nguyen is a psychiatrist who completed her bachelor of science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at the University of California Davis, medical training at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and residency at University of California Riverside where she served as Chief Resident. She is a recipient of the APA SAMHSA Fellowship and has published works on medical treatments of stuttering and psychosis. Dr. Nguyen treats all illnesses, and specializes in depression/ mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and women’s mental health. She believes in utilizing intersectional perspectives to create lateral change. It takes strength and courage to stand in your truths, and Dr. Nguyen seeks to provide a safe space to amplify your voice, draw on your lived experiences, and carry what is useful forward for the life you need. She welcomes all identities, faiths, orientations, and beliefs, and strives to ensure confidential, empathetic, and individualized treatments for all patients.
