Dr. Elie S. Semaan is a double board certified Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon, and the Director of the Division of Vascular Surgery at NYC Surgical Associates.
His undergraduate training was performed at University of California Los Angeles, and residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where his surgical experience spanned from general and minimally invasive surgery to critical care, vascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery.
He followed this extensive training with a fellowship in the specialty of Vascular Surgery at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the top tier programs in the country.
He is widely published in the field of Vascular Surgery and has presented nationally and internationally in topics in Vascular Surgery and more specifically, the emerging and technologically advanced field of Endovascular Surgery.
His interests span a wide variety of vascular surgery procedures, including complex aortic repairs, peripheral …vascular surgery, endovenous procedures and complex redo operations.
Prior to joining the staff at NYC Surgical he was a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona, and one of the founding members of Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, AZ, as well as Assistant Clinical Professor at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY.
