Dr. Ethan Erik Larson

A native of Tucson, Dr Larson attended the University of Arizona, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in Microbiology and Psychology. He was the Senior Student of the Year in the College of Microbiology and a NASA Space Grant Research Fellow. He attended the University of Arizona Medical School as a Deans Scholar, graduating at the top of his class in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He was recognized as the Outstanding Senior Student in Surgery. Dr Larson’s internship and residency in Plastic Surgery were completed in Washington, DC at Georgetown University and its Affiliated Hospitals. His fellowship training was microvascular surgery and complex oncologic defect reconstruction at the Universality of Washington in Seattle. After returning to Tucson Dr. Larson joined the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Arizona where he served for 7 years. He was Chief of Plastic Surgery for four years. He continues to have professorship appointments in …Plastic Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Arizona and teaches medical students and residents. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. His special interests include minimal scar cosmetic surgery, scarless rejuvenation, breast augmentation, lipedema care, gender affirmation surgery and complex reconstruction surgery.
